As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will work as a member of the inter-professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, venipuncture and micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in phlebotomy, ECG, and CR (Computed Radiography). Experience with Siemens X-ray equipment. Familiarity with the following analyzers and systems: Vitros XT, Sysmex XN, Triage Meter, i-STAT, ACL Elite Pro, and Access 2 (ACCESSII). Experience performing portable X-ray examinations.
