ABOUT ADOBO NATION
Adobo Nation is Fort McMurray's home for authentic Filipino food — a restaurant, bakery, grocery, and events venue serving the Filipino community and the wider Fort McMurray region. Our kitchen runs on teamwork, and we're looking for a reliable kitchen helper to keep it moving.
THE ROLE
We're hiring a full-time Kitchen Helper to support our cooks and keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and running smoothly through daily service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and prep ingredients for the cooks.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen — work surfaces, equipment, appliances, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Receive, unpack, and store food and supply deliveries
- Remove kitchen garbage and recycling; sweep and mop floors
- Assist the cooks with food prep and plating as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous kitchen or food-service experience is required
- Comfortable with commercial kitchen equipment, dishwashing, and high-volume prep
- Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting/carrying supplies
- Flexible availability, including weekends
WHAT WE OFFER
- Wage: $16.00/hour
- Full-time, 35-42 hours/week

- Canadian work experience that can support a future permanent-residence application for eligible candidates.

Candidates who require employer support with Canadian work authorization are also encouraged to apply. Must have or be able to get the TEF/TCF Exam (NCLC 5).
