BGC Greater Fredericton (formerly the Fredericton Boys & Girls Club) is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dependable After-School Program Leader to help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children ages 5–12.

Schedule
School Year Position North & South locations
- Part-time
- Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Applicants must be available all weekday afternoons during these hours.
What You'll Do
As an After-School Program Leader, you will:
- Plan, lead, and supervise engaging activities such as homework support, arts and crafts, sports, gym games, STEM activities, and group games.
- Foster positive relationships with children while serving as a positive role model.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where every child feels included.
- Supervise participants and support their social, emotional, and recreational development.
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff to deliver high-quality after-school programming.
- Follow BGC Greater Fredericton policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with children ages 5–12 (daycare, camps, recreation, after-school programs, or similar settings).
- Knowledgeable about positive child guidance and behaviour management strategies.
- A strong communicator with leadership and teamwork skills.
- Energetic, dependable, organized, and enthusiastic.
- Passionate about creating positive experiences for children.
Screening Requirements
The successful candidate must successfully complete all required screening, including:
- Reference checks
- New Brunswick Social Development Check
- Clear NB Criminal Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 12 months)
