We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the premises
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate action or escalation
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly when needed
