Primary Responsibilities:
● Set research goals and priorities with the R&D Manager and General Manager.
● Maintain a comprehensive list of active and proposed research studies and update the various projects’ goals and statuses.
● Follow project timelines and contribute toensure study progress.
● Perform research studies and record their results.
● Document research studies and their findings according to GDP so the study is submission-ready if applicable.
● Coordinate with Production or QC staff to perform experiments, and test samples when applicable.
● Document findings of research studies in written reports or an appropriate graphical representation.
● Assist with executing validations for new equipment, novel or altered analytical methods, and process changes.
● Update controlled documents
Secondary:
● Occasional travel to trade shows or equipment supplier sites.
● Carry out related tasks as requested by senior management.
Skills and Experience:
● Undergraduate or master’s degree in a scientific field
● Experience working in a GxP environment.
● Experience working safely with hazardous chemicals and equipment.
● Experience working in a Quality or Research lab setting.
● General aptitude for analytical instrumentation/techniques (HPLC, Gas chromatography, Spectrometry, etc.).
● Understanding of scientific principles in related fields (biochemistry, life sciences, chemistry, etc.).
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
