Fed is a personalized nutrition company in Vancouver. We are looking for an ambitious, detail oriented and Senior Cook to join our team and help us create nutritious meals. As a Senior Cook, you will be taking on a leadership role within the organization, training and monitoring our junior team members as well as working to create and refine a premiere service for people across the lower mainland. We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated and has both passion and creativity for food. At Fed we take pride in the highest quality of standards in food preparation and ingredients.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in commercial kitchens
· Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments
· Catering experience is an asset
· FoodSafe Level 1
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Capacity to multitask to meet multiple demands and instructions
· Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
· Comfortable with technology
· Willingness to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job
· Comfortable following standardized recipes and production systems
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
· Lead and execute the preparation of meals, following exact ingredients
· Prepare proteins, vegetables, sauces, and other meal components
· Execute recipes accurately and consistently
· Operate efficiently within production schedules
· Maintain consistency and quality standards for all meals served
· Conduct regular inventory counts of food and other kitchen supplies
· Support and train junior kitchen staff as needed
· Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
· Perform other related duties as needed
