About the Role
Vegas Entertainment, Calgary's best in class mobile DJ company is looking for Party Engineers for weddings, corporate events, Stampede breakfasts, school dances, and more. This is a part-time, flexible, contractor position with consistent weekend work and strong earning potential including tips.
If you love music, work well in front of a crowd, and want a side income that's actually enjoyable, this is worth your time.
Requirements
- Valid Alberta driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone with data plan
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Available minimum 3 weekends per month
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Theatre, drama, and/or public speaking experience
- Broad music knowledge (top 40, country, rock, indie, ethnic/cultural)
- Audio and/or lighting setup experience
- Previous DJ and/or event hosting experience
Compensation
- From $40.00 per hour
- Tips
- Additional earning potential based on event type, experience, etc.
This is a freelance independent contractor position. Contractors invoice per event and maintain flexibility over their schedule.
