Role: Facility Operator
Salary: Starting at $24/h
Role Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing asphaltic products while supporting facility operations including loading and unloading, preventative maintenance, and general labour duties. Ensures all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department are followed to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality.

Daily Responsibilities:
● General housekeeping and warehousing
● Packaging products (drums, boxes, pails, etc.)
● Assisting with polymer production and solution preparation
● Loading and unloading trucks
● Dipping tanks
● Operating forklift and crane equipment
● Performing preventative maintenance and general labour tasks as assigned
● Following all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications:
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Physical fitness and mechanical aptitude
● Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (asset)
● Basic computer literacy (asset)
● Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well within a team
Working Conditions:
● Rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights), weekends, and overtime as required
● Seasonal schedule with potential temporary winter layoff
● Facility environment requiring strict adherence to safety protocols
Physical Requirements:
● Standing for extended periods
● Lifting and handling materials
● Loading/unloading trucks and performing hands-on labour tasks
