Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Site Safety Coordinator to oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance across construction sites. This role is vital in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel involved in electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess construction experience, familiarity with construction management software, and a strong commitment to safety standards. The Electrical Site Safety Coordinator will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and safety teams to implement and monitor safety procedures, conduct inspections, and promote a culture of safety awareness on-site.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies specific to electrical construction activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the worksite to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Coordinate safety training sessions for new and existing personnel, emphasizing electrical safety practices.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and address any unsafe behaviors or conditions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan safe work procedures and assist in risk assessments prior to commencing work activities.
- Investigate accidents or incidents involving electrical work, determine root causes, and recommend corrective measures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, safety regulations, and new technologies related to electrical construction safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, particularly within electrical or related trades.
- Knowledge of construction management software for tracking safety compliance and documentation.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards for electrical work.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and coordinate with multiple teams on-site.
- Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and identify potential hazards proactively.
- Certification in OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety courses is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $44.00 per hour
