We are a 100% Canadian and Family-Owned construction equipment rental, sales and service company based out of Burlington, Ontario. Our equipment consists of Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Forklifts & Telehandlers, Bobcats and more. Join our dynamic team as a Yard Hand and become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our equipment rental services, operating heavy equipment, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment, and ensuring the smooth flow of equipment in and out of our facility. Duties
- Inspecting and testing Rental Equipment before and after each rental
- Washing, Function testing, lubing and greasing, checking paperwork is up to date, fueling, and charging equipment.
- Assisting drivers and customer’s with loading and unloading equipment in a safe manor.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, including moving parts and batteries or bulky items around the shop and yard
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas and maintaining clean, safe work environments
- Collaborate with team members on load securing, yard maintenance, and equipment inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organized shop and yard. This includes, sweeping, emptying garbage’s, organizing equipment and clutter.
- Delivery and pick up of various parts and supplies as needed.
- Other duties as instructed
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, aerial lifts, earth moving, and other construction machinery
- Construction or heavy equipment operation background is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the use of safety gear during operations
- A clean G license
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting operational goals

Pay: $17.94-$20.94 per hour
