Facial Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and personable Facial Specialist to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare treatments, enhance guest experiences, and promote our range of skincare products. The Facial Specialist will be responsible for delivering personalized facial treatments, recommending skincare solutions, and ensuring guest satisfaction through professional and friendly interactions.
Responsibilities
- Perform facial treatments tailored to individual client needs, including cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage, and mask application
- Provide additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care as needed
- Educate clients on skincare routines and recommend suitable products to enhance results
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all treatment areas following health regulations
- Deliver excellent guest services by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally
- Assist with retail sales by upselling skincare products and promoting special offers or demos
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in guests, and processing payments
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate clients about new or featured skincare lines
- Ensure proper documentation of treatments and client preferences for future visits
Requirements
- Proven experience in skincare treatments such as facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a spa or salon setting
- Excellent communication skills to educate clients about products and services while upselling effectively
- Previous experience working at the front desk or in guest services is preferred
- Ability to perform multiple beauty services including makeup application and body waxing is a plus
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
- Certification or licensing in esthetics or cosmetology is required where applicable
