As a Senior Account Manager, Social-Media and Influencer, your job is to partner with clients to relentlessly pursue innovative creative thinking, with a focus on identifying and leveraging new trends, executing programs, and developing client relationships. An essential ingredient of your success is the ability to partner and collaborate with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires a passionate team leader with very strong creative, strategic thinking and organizational abilities. A creative and analytical thinker who can create cross-channel media strategies for our clients.
In this position, you will be developing and managing influencer and social media strategies, programs and teams coupled with a solid understanding of the constantly evolving media landscapes.
Campaign day-to-day lead: Manage daily execution of influencer and social advertising campaigns for multiple clients, guiding projects from start to finish. Lead partner selection, outreach, negotiation, contracts, and creative briefing. Integrate paid media, track analytics, and deliver reports to ensure campaign success.
Creative strategist: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic social media plans and points of view. Bring curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking to strengthen clients’ online presence and measurable impact, aligned to program KPIs and business goals.
Narrative driver: A confident, strong social writer and storyteller, skilled in crafting and editing a range of comms materials that delivers impact for clients and ability to write effective and thumb-stopping social content.
Influencer relations pro: Maintain and grow strong relationships with Canadian influencers across consumer, technology, lifestyle and other beats. Bringing a keen eye on how to pivot or personalize outreach to reach program coverage goals. Familiarity with various influencer tools such as Tagger, Captiv8
Client management: Serve as a trusted client lead, building deep relationships and proactively driving smart, strategic programs forward.
Coach and mentor: Lead junior team members with clarity and care, delegating, reviewing, and providing feedback while not hesitating to roll up sleeves to support when its needed. Contribute to North’s inclusive and positive agency culture and lead brainstorming sessions
Visual content lead: Set the strategic direction for visual brand content aligned to client objectives, including video and short-form content.
Best-practices tracker: Monitor industry and brand trends, translating best practices into ongoing improvements.
Budget & forecast owner: Support forecasting and manage budgets across a set of client accounts, with a focus on organic growth.

7-9 years of experience in a social media or influencer agency

Bachelor’s & post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field
