Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and client-focused Kinesiologist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative clinic environment and wants to grow their career in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance training. You’ll be working closely with physiotherapists and other practitioners to deliver personalized exercise programs and support patient recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional assessments and movement screenings
- Design and implement individualized exercise and rehab programs
- Support clients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other practitioners
- Educate clients on injury prevention, mobility, and strength development
- Track progress and adjust programs based on outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
- Assist with active rehab programs (ICBC, WSBC, private clients)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field
- Registered (or eligible) with the BCAK (British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists)
- Experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred (new grads with strong mindset welcome)
- Strong understanding of exercise prescription and biomechanics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a growth-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with ICBC or WSBC active rehab programs
- Background in strength & conditioning or athletic training
- Interest in working with athletes or performance clients
- Certifications (e.g., FMS, CSCS, personal training)
