About the Role:
The role of an Electrical Apprentice will require an individual willing to work within a team under the supervision and guidance of a Journeyman Electrician to effectively provide our clients with residential solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate 2-storey residential roofs safely with fall arrest equipment (provided).
- Ascend and descend 32ft extension ladders.
- Pull wire and install conduit, electrical boxes, and equipment.
- Carry & install solar modules on pitched roof faces.
- Assist team and Journeyman with electrical work required to complete solar installations.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for a candidate who maintains a professional demeanor and possess the following qualifications:
Skills and Abilities:
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in residential electrical work (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge about basic home construction is an asset.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and on 2-storey pitched roofs with company-provided fall protection equipment.
- Flexible to work varied hours and locations within Edmonton and the surrounding areas, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more, multiple times per day.
- Willingness to learn of electrical code, prints, diagrams, and schematics.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
- Basic electrical hand tools and 18v drill.
- Fall Arrest certification.
- Criminal background check.
