We are seeking reliable and friendly Park Operators to help maintain and support daily operations at Rolley Lake Provincial Park. This is a hands-on outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys working in nature and interacting with the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain parks facilities according to BC Parks standards (including but not limited to pit toilets, garbage bins, campsites, picnic tables, firepits, wash houses, and shower stalls)
- Provide visitor information and excellent customer service
- Monitor park use and support compliance with BC Parks policies
- Collect fees and accurately handle cash transactions
- Report safety concerns or incidents as required
- Working evenings, nights, and weekends
Qualifications
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Multitasking in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with cash handling or point-of-sale systems is an asset
- Class 5 or N driver’s license (or equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract
- Maintenance or parks experience is an asset
