Part-Time Early Childhood Educator (18–27 Hours/Week)

Little Blue Childcare Centre is looking for a caring, reliable, and positive educator to join our small team!
We're a play-based childcare centre that values kindness, teamwork, and creating a safe, fun environment where children can learn and grow. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to become part of our daycare family—not just fill a position.
Position
- Part-time (18–27 hours per week)
- There is potential for this position to become full-time in the future as our centre continues to grow.

Qualifications
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate (or ECE Assistant certification if applicable).
- Current First Aid with CPR-C.
- Criminal Record Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Knowledge of BC Child Care Licensing Regulations is an asset.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing quality care and supervision for children.
- Planning and participating in age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
- Assisting with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and daily routines.
- Working closely with coworkers to ensure the day runs smoothly.
- Following all licensing and health and safety requirements.
