Position: Night Auditor
Reports To: Front Desk Manager / General Manager
Position Overview:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the property during the overnight hours, performing both front desk duties and night audit to ensure smooth operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly audits and prepare reports for management.
- Check in and check out guests promptly and courteously, providing outstanding customer service.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Breakfast Preparation
- Monitor the property during overnight hours, ensuring guest safety and security.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and room availability.
- Assist with nightly deposits, cash handling, and credit card processing.
- Communicate any operational issues or incidents to the appropriate departments.
- Prepare and submit nightly reports to management, including revenue, occupancy, and incident reports.
- Perform light administrative and housekeeping follow-up tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently overnight hours.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Schedule:
- Overnight shifts, typically, with flexibility as needed.
