Prodigy Personnel is recruiting an experience MIG for our client in Mississauga area. As a MIG Pipe Welder, you will have a chance to challenge yourself and grow through different department practices. A successful candidate must be committed to personal learning and work cohesively with a friendly and knowledgeable team.
Location: Mississauga, ON (Drew Rd & Dixie)
Shift: Days 7am to 3:15pm
Pay: Starting at $25/per hour
Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints / drawings.
- Must have experience with fitting and pipe welding.
- Must have experience some with MIG
- Must have experience with Multi passes
- Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Some heavy lifting may be necessary. Must be able up to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have an eye for detail and be quality oriented.
- Have strong sense or responsibility and willingness to learn new concepts.
- Able to operate with high sense of diligence and priority for safety.
- Must have strong English communication skills and able to delegate competing priorities in production.
- Must have strong organizational skills and decision-making ability.
- Computer literate. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have CSA approved safety shoes
- Clear criminal background
- Available Monday to Friday (full time)
