Gillfor Distribution is looking for an Account Manager - Internal to join our Longueuil, Quebec branch.
The Account Manager - Internal is responsible for achieving results for the distribution center by creating and maintaining business relationships with key customer accounts. This person works as part of a team and is responsible for managing all aspects of our business with their customer: product sales and promotion, customer accounts, shipping and delivery, and conflict resolution. A good account manager communicates effectively, is comfortable in a team culture, has a keen business sense, and clearly understands how to generate profitable business results. Account managers are also responsible for helping to create customer targets and plans.

Performance requirements
\u2022 Identify decision-makers in targeted prospects to initiate the sales process.
\u2022 Collaborate with the division manager to determine the necessary strategic sales approaches.
\u2022 Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibitions, and other events as required.
\u2022 Make outgoing follow-up calls to existing customers by phone, email, or Teams meetings.
\u2022 Sell the company's added value and increase the customer's product basket.
\u2022 Manage incoming and unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
\u2022 Attend periodic sales training as required.
\u2022 Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, payment, refunds, etc.
\u2022 Perform all other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
\u2022 Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
\u2022 Experience in building materials is a significant asset.
\u2022 Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
\u2022 Facilitates problem identification, solution finding, and objection handling.
\u2022 Proven sales leader.
\u2022 Able to establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
\u2022 Committed, with a high level of energy and contagious enthusiasm.

Working conditions
\u2022 Competitive compensation package.
\u2022 Full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overtime and weekends as needed.
