Position Overview
The Night Auditor/Guest Services Representative will be responsible for working two (2) Night Audit shifts per week, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The position will also be responsible for working additional morning and afternoon Guest Services shifts, as scheduled and as operational needs require, including coverage on holidays when necessary.
Job Purpose
To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments on a daily basis, and complete all necessary reports.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for welcoming guests through check-in and out of hotel, receiving payment, correcting account and reservation discrepancies
- Creating and cancelling reservations and act as the main liaison between the guest and the hotel
- Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests.
- Reconciliation of the day's transactions
- Performing the closing of the day in Maestro, the PMS system at the hotel.
- Performs the completion of the Night Audit Check-list and ensures the Night Audit Functions are completed and all reports distributed in a timely manner
- Deliveries to guest's rooms
- Security walks inside and outside of property
- Provide support and solutions to guest concerns or situations and ensure follow-up action is taken.
- Follow all required hotel & company policies
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
- Establish and build relationships with guests to ensure all service expectations are exceeded
- Comply with company safety policies, procedures and guidelines

- Previous experience as a Front Desk or Night Auditor within a hotel industry an asset
- Maestro experience and/or computer skills an asset
- Be eligible to work within the Canada

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
