Field Technician Communications and Accomodations , Dawson Creek/ Grande Prairie
Whitetail Energy Services is growing and actively recruiting. We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills for the role of Wellsite Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the efficient management of our Communciation equipment and well site accommodations fleet, Including the Repair of wellsite trailers, set up/tear down of trailers, Turn around (cleaning ) and filling trailers with necessities
- Ensure regular maintenance of company vehicle and longevity of tools, equipment and PPE
- Adhere to and participate in all safety protocols, as well as, all customer safety protocols when on locations
- Fill out tickets completely and accurately, as soon as a job is complete
- Help us grow and maintain relationships with clients

- Ability to travel, and occasionally be away overnight
- Must be available for varying shifts and work overtime or weekends as required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving abstract.
- Demonstrate professional conduct and personal appearance;
- General experience in electrical, LP furnaces and hot water heaters considered an asset;
- Having H2S, First Aid ticket, fall arrest.
- Experience with satellite systems, generators, light towers an asset.
- Physical fitness (some heavy lifting required) and a strong mechanical aptitude are both required
- Relevant experience will be prioritized.
- Technical experience with communication equipment ( internet, cellular, radio ) including working at heights will be an added asset.
