Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with a wide range of physical tasks to support daily operations across various projects — including a significant amount of work on the water and on island properties. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Prior experience is an asset but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build hands‑on skills and gain valuable experience in a team‑oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area
- Support team members with manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Help set up work sites for various projects or activities
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Participate in water‑based operations, including transporting materials by boat and working on island job sites
Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor throughout the workday
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and coworkers
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction or industrial environments
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Prior experience in construction or landscaping is an advantage but not mandatory
- Comfort working on the water and traveling to island job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a variety of tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Muskoka Lakes, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
