Be part of Canada's largest multicultural fusion festival.
WorldFest Canada is looking for friendly, energetic Event Volunteers to help bring our 2026 festival to life at Sankofa Square in the heart of downtown Toronto. Over a hundred thousand guests, music, food, and culture from around the world, all on one of the city's busiest summer weekends.
This is your chance to step behind the scenes of a major cultural event, earn your volunteer hours, and gain real event experience that looks great on any resume or application. No experience needed, just bring a positive attitude.
Perfect for students and anyone who needs community involvement or volunteer hours this summer.
When
- Friday, July 10 (setup and prep)
- Saturday, July 11 (festival day)
- Sunday, July 12 (festival day)
You do not need to be available all three days. Just let us know which day or days work for you and we will build your schedule around your availability. Shifts are flexible.
What you'll do
(Tasks vary by shift and your interests)
- Welcome and direct guests, answer questions, and share festival info
- Help at info booths, entrances, and activation areas
- Support vendors, performers, and event staff
- Assist with setup, signage, and tear down
- Help keep spaces clean, safe, and running smoothly
- Hand out programs and bring great energy to the crowd

Who we're looking for
- Age 17 and up (students welcome)
- Reliable, punctual, and happy to be on your feet outdoors
- Friendly and comfortable talking to guests from all backgrounds
- Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- No experience required
Good to know
- This is an unpaid volunteer position
- Outdoor event, rain or shine
- Volunteers under 18 may need parent or guardian consent
