The Comox Valley Transition Society is seeking a casual/relief Crisis Intervention Support Worker (CISW) to work in our residential facility for abused women and their children (Lilli House). The successful candidate will have working knowledge of abuse and substance misuse issues, community services, crisis intervention and counselling skills, working knowledge of empowerment model, conflict resolution skills and effective interpersonal communication skills relevant to a team environment. Relevant education, training and experience (2 years) are required. Criminal record clearance and valid Level I First Aid Certificate required.
