Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Cook/Server. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the food industry, with experience or interest in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain food safety standards
- Cook and prepare meals, including plating and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas throughout shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry practices
- Support team members in meal preparation and service during busy periods
- Ensure proper inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers professionally
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the food industry
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
