Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality meals, and providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Support serving staff with food delivery and presentation when needed
- Stock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of ingredients and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment
- The restaurant is open until 1 am. Must be able to work close shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fast food service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
