Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance of HPE NonStop systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours as needed.
Contribute to system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives.
Develop and maintain scripts and utilities using TAL and TACL.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hand-on experience on HPE nonstop systems in Guardian as well as OSS environments.
Knowledge of NonStop system software components and DSM/SCM including reviewing SPRs and how they apply to a given OS version.
Knowledge of HPE Nonstop hardware platform
Knowledge of ODBC and JDBC protocols.
Knowledge of TAL, COBOL, TACL
Knowledge of SQL/MX, SQL/MP, Enscribe databases
Should be able to work in challenging environment
Knowledge of PCI Security Standards and data protection
Should be a team player and ready to work flexible hours
Working knowledge of IBM MQ for NonStop
Knowledge of Secure DPS from comForte
Knowledge of Xygate Merged Audit and other products from Xypro
Knowledge of Utimaco hardware encryption device
Should be able to travel to data centers when needed
Excellent communication skills necessary
