We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a candidate that is able to drive our 10-passenger airport shuttle bus in a Richmond Hotel setting as well as work at the Front Desk. We are looking for Full-time applicant that can work specifically Monday to Friday evenings at this time. This position involves driving our guests to and from the Vancouver International Airport and nearby areas within Richmond/Vancouver as necessary. A valid class 5 drivers license with clear abstract is required with your resume. The job requires you to drive shuttle bus and MUST be able to manage the front desk and system alongside your front desk colleagues. The position available is specifically for someone who is able to work Monday to Friday, from 5 pm to 1 am (8 hour shifts); flexibility is preferred and on the occasion must be able to work on the weekend .
Wage: Starting: Minimum for Probationary period; thereafter $19 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Include answering multiple phone lines, directing calls to proper departments, scheduling walk in reservations as well as future reservations.
- Checking guest in and out, tending to all guest requests, providing friendly customer service at all times and basic cashier skill.
- Drive Shuttle bus to and from the airport on the set schedule and on demand as needed.
Requirements:
- Hotel experience preferred, customer service experience preferred.
- Must be capable of lifting heavy baggage up to 50lbs + and able to help guests in and out of the shuttle van as required.
- Must be a Team Player.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish.
- Must be able to operate a Desktop Computer and Property Management System.
- Job knowledgeable of surrounding areas and attractions for guest needs is appreciated.
- Ability to walk / stand for hours at a time.
- Second language is an asset.
- Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and holidays if and as needed.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
