Covalin Electrical Supply is seeking an electrical store Clerk / warehouse worker who can participate in sales and transactions on the floor and provide customers with the best possible service during every interaction.
Store Clerk responsibilities and duties
-Operate the cash register and provide accurate change to cash-paying customers
-Restock shelves when needed to ensure optimum availability of products
-Unpack shipments in the store room and categorize them appropriately
-Place special orders for customers who can’t find what they need in the store
-Prepare and distribute special-ordered merchandise
-Contacting existing and new prospective customers by phone and email
Store Clerk qualifications and skills
-Previous electrical sales experience
-Excellent work ethic and time management skills
-Previous customer service experience a plus
-Strong interpersonal communication skills
-The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
-The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 20 pounds
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.15 per hour
