We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team at Casa Tequila, mexican restaurant in Okotoks AB
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Previous experience is an asset but is not required. We are happy to provide training to the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, motivated, reliable, and flexible with scheduling. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as excellent communication with our diverse clientele is an important part of this role.

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Take orders accurately using POS , ensuring timely service
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality and answer any questions about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory counting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work morning, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Spanish language is an asset!
- Living in Okotoks or the surrounding area.
