Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Truck Driver with Moffett, to join our team. This role involves transporting freight across various locations while ensuring safety, timely deliveries, and proper handling of cargo. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and the ability to manage freight securely on flatbed trailers.
Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport freight over short and long distances.
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transit.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Must know how to operate Moffett.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for flatbed hauling.
- Experience operating flatbed trucks and freight transportation.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as Moffett is preferred.
- Ability to secure freight properly using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prior experience with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety standards.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy items when necessary, and perform vehicle inspections.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
