Wage Range: $75 - $95 per hour
Academic Term: 2026-2027 Academic Year
Start Date: September 2026
The Glenn Gould School is seeking a Vocal Coach with experience as a collaborative pianist in professional and academic settings. Students participate in 24 weeks of classes and voice students receive 24 hours of coaching during the academic year (12 hours per term).
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in collaborative piano or piano performance.
- Five years of experience as a collaborative pianist in paid professional and postsecondary academic settings.
- Significant experience collaborating and coaching singers – in multiple genres including opera, oratorio and art song.
- Collegial, energized, self-starter with excellent pianistic skills, ability to sight-read or quick study at a high level.
- The selection process may include an audition.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to the start of the term, as a condition of employment.
