Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team in St. Albert, Alberta. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the flow of products and materials in and out of the facility while also serving as a key point of contact for customers and distributors. You will ensure orders are processed accurately, shipments arrive on time, customer inquiries are addressed professionally, and inventory remains well organized. Working closely with production, administration, freight providers, customs brokers, and customers worldwide, you will play an important role in supporting the company's operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and ship domestic and international orders
Prepare shipping documents, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork
Book freight and courier shipments, track deliveries, and resolve shipment issues
Receive incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, and report discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, product availability, and delivery timelines
Process customer orders and ensure order accuracy from entry through shipment
Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customer accounts
Proactively communicate order status updates and resolve customer concerns
Coordinate with production and internal teams to meet customer requirements
Support the management of dealer and distributor accounts across international markets
Assist with maintaining customer records, pricing information, and account documentation

2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, logistics, customer service, or account coordination
Experience supporting customer accounts, order processing, or distribution partners is considered an asset
Comfortable with international shipping paperwork, or willing to learn (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Forklift certification is an asset; certification can be provided for the right candidate
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management, ERP, CRM, or order-entry systems is an asset
Reliable, self-directed, organized, and accountable
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
