Albright Trucking Inc. is looking to connect with experienced and dependable individuals interested in our dock and warehouse operations.
This position plays an important role in supporting our LTL freight operation and ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trailers and straight trucks.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
- Accurately document and record all incoming freight.
- Verify freight counts, condition, and shipping paperwork.
- Assist with trailer loading to maximize space utilization and freight security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock and yard environment.
- Perform general dock and yard maintenance duties as required.
- Communicate freight discrepancies or damages to dispatch and management.
- Assist with various warehouse and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience is required.
- Experience in LTL freight, transportation, or warehouse environments is considered an asset.
- Ability to accurately document and track freight information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle freight safely.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securement practices is considered an asset.
Hours:
3:00am-11:30 am
Monday-Friday
