Job Description
We are a small residential concrete forming company seeking an experienced Concrete Forming Foreman to run foundation projects from start to finish. This is a working foreman position for someone who can lead a crew, handle layout, and keep jobs moving efficiently and safely.
This role is not entry-level. Applicants must have proven experience running residential forming crews.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a residential concrete forming crew
- Run day-to-day job site operations independently
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Perform accurate layout for footings and foundation walls
- Oversee and assist with placing and tying reinforcing steel (rebar) for footings, walls, and slabs
- Plan daily tasks, crew assignments, and material needs
- Ensure quality workmanship and production targets are met
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean job site
- Communicate with management, inspectors, and other trades
- Train and mentor crew members as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of residential concrete forming experience
- Previous foreman or lead-hand experience required
- Strong understanding of formwork, footings, and foundation walls
- Ability to read drawings and complete layout without supervision
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s license
