310T Truck & Coach Apprentice
Master Mobile Mechanical Service LTD. is currently seeking a motivated 310T Truck & Coach Apprentice to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable individual who takes pride in quality work, is eager to learn, and enjoys working in both a shop and mobile service environment.
Whether you are just beginning your apprenticeship or have levels completed, we offer the opportunity to develop your skills while working alongside experienced licensed technicians. This position includes a combination of in-shop repairs and mobile service work at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed technicians with diagnosing and repairing heavy trucks and trailers in the shop and at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance services and inspections.
- Complete safety inspections and related documentation under supervision as required.
- Learn diagnostic procedures and repair techniques.
- Record time spent, parts used, and repairs completed in shop software.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in both the shop and service vehicle.
- Wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist other team members as assigned.
- Perform heavy lifting, standing, climbing, crouching, and other physical tasks required in a heavy-duty service environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Registered 310T Truck & Coach Apprentice (all apprenticeship levels considered).
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Own basic hand tools and CSA-approved safety footwear.
- Interest in working on heavy trucks and trailers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in both a shop environment and at customer sites.
