Duties
- Assist with planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care to ensure lush, healthy landscapes
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
- Support construction activities such as installing features, setting up irrigation systems, and preparing sites for planting or hardscaping
- Maintain landscape features by performing routine upkeep including edging, mulching, and weed control
- Help with the installation and repair of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health
- Conduct routine inspections of landscape areas to identify maintenance needs or potential issues
- Support equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition
Requirements
- Prior experience with construction or landscaping work is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening practices, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is desirable but not required
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry materials regularly
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
