Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping and horticultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape upkeep, and outdoor maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and maintaining plant beds to ensure aesthetic appeal
- Operating equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools for landscape projects
- Installing and repairing irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth
- Performing general gardening tasks including planting, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conducting landscape maintenance activities such as edging, mulching, and aeration
- Assisting with construction or installation projects related to outdoor spaces
- Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections to ensure proper functioning
- Adhering to safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and construction practices is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
