Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and solution-oriented Concrete Lifting & Polyurethane Technician to join our growing team. Instead of traditional, back-breaking tear-out and replacement, our business specializes in lifting, leveling, and stabilizing concrete using advanced polyurethane foam injection.
Previous concrete experience is not required. We will fully train the right person. What we do need is someone who isn't afraid of hard work, has a strong driving record, and thrives on active problem-solving. Every settled slab, driveway, and walkway presents a unique puzzle. You will be responsible for driving our mobile rig to site, assessing the concrete, and using specialized foam injection equipment to restore surfaces. If you enjoy tangible results, working outdoors, and using both your brain and your brawn, this is the role for you.
Duties
- Drive & Mobilize: Safely drive and maneuver a 3-ton box truck (our mobile rig) to various residential and commercial job sites.
- Assess & Problem-Solve: Evaluate settled or unlevel concrete slabs (driveways, sidewalks, patios) to determine the best injection strategy and foam volume needed.
- Site Preparation: Drill precise, strategic holes into concrete surfaces to prepare for foam injection ports.
- Foam Injection & Leveling: Operate specialized polyurethane pumps, hoses, and injection guns to carefully lift and stabilize concrete slabs, monitoring the lift in real-time.
- Patch & Clean: Remove injection ports, cleanly patch drilled holes with cement, and ensure the job site is left spotless.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily checks and maintenance on truck systems, generators, compressors, and power tools.
Experience & Requirements
- Driving Experience: Proven experience confidently driving a 3-ton box truck (or similar large commercial vehicle).
- Clean Driver’s Abstract: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory to operate our company rigs.
- The Right Attitude: A strong work ethic and the ability to think on your feet. You need to be someone who looks at a challenging, uneven slab and enjoys figuring out how to fix it.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort with manual labor, heavy lifting (up to 50–75 lbs), kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Tool Fluency: General mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic power tools (like hammer drills) is a major asset.
- No Concrete Experience Needed: While a background in general labor, landscaping, or delivery driving is great, we care more about your reliability, driving skills, and willingness to learn.
