Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team toward achieving sales and operational goals. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store presentation.
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering activities, and POS transactions to maintain accuracy and security.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase sales.
- Handle purchasing decisions, vendor negotiations, and budgeting to optimize store profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
- Manage administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for bookkeeping purposes.
