Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our orthodontic practice. Experience in orthodontics preferred but not required. Monday to Thursday. No evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the orthodontist during a variety of procedures
- Take orthodontic records including panoramic and cepholametric xrrays, and scans
- Manage patient records accurately using Cloud9
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
- Impression taking and lab work
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role in a fast-paced dental practice
- Knowledge of orthodontics and medical terminology is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques including radiography and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals
- Certification or licensure in dental assisting is required or preferred depending on state regulations
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
