Supervisor – Boston Pizza Waterdown
Boston Pizza Waterdown is looking for a reliable, motivated, and guest-focused Supervisor to join our management team. The Supervisor will support daily restaurant operations, lead the front-of-house team, and help ensure every guest receives excellent service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff during each shift.
- Open and close the restaurant according to company procedures.
- Complete cash-outs, deposits, shift reports, and other required paperwork accurately.
- Assign sections and side duties while ensuring all closing and cleaning tasks are completed.
- Monitor the dining room, bar, patio, takeout, and expo areas throughout the shift.
- Greet guests, resolve concerns, and help create a positive guest experience.
- Assist with serving, bartending, hosting, takeout, and expo when needed.
- Ensure food and drinks are delivered accurately, promptly, and according to Boston Pizza standards.
- Coach employees on service expectations, teamwork, product knowledge, and proper restaurant procedures.
- Ensure temperature checks, chemical testing, health and safety checks, and daily checklists are completed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, food safety, and inspection readiness.
- Support reservations, large groups, sporting events, fundraisers, and restaurant promotions.
- Communicate maintenance concerns, staffing issues, guest complaints, and operational updates to management.
- Ensure employees follow all company policies, including responsible alcohol service and workplace safety procedures.
- Help create a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, serving, bartending, or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, professional, and able to lead by example.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest service.
- Comfortable handling cash, completing reports, and making decisions during a shift.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Smart Serve certification is required.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
Position Details
- Part-time or full-time hours may be available.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
- The Supervisor may also work serving or bartending shifts depending on business needs.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
