Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that food service operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety and cleanliness, with some experience in food handling and kitchen operations preferred. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Support the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Help organize and store supplies, ingredients, and equipment efficiently.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables according to established procedures.
- Maintain a tidy work environment to promote safety and efficiency during food service hours.
- Support serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary supplies or assistance as needed.
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is desirable but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety protocols. Pay: $17.85-$25.30 per hour
