BOSS Staffing is assisting our client, a large biomedical instrument manufacturing company in the Vaughan area is hiring a Shop Helper.
This client is located in Vaughan, near Hwy 50 and Hwy 7, and is Bus Accessible.
We are currently hiring for the following positions at this facility!
Shop Helper - $20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience
Afternoons: Monday through Friday 8:00Am-4:30PM
This is a permanent direct hire position with our client.
The General Labour position will be required to perform tasks involving light physical labor and operate a variety of hand and handheld power tools. Responsibilities will include the assembly of products using bolts, screws, clips, polishing, filing, bending of tubes installing fasteners, washing, packing, unpacking and other similar duties.

Job Duties
- Polishing, grinding, hand filing, sanding parts, assemble components, bending tubes, and finishing parts using manual and machine tools, washing and packing and unpacking parts.
- Visual inspection of products for quality.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment by maintaining housekeeping standards and safe working practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Previous experience in a machine shop is an asset
- The ability to understand and follow instructions.
