Responsible for cooking and batching of the products during each shift. It will cover moving material and various duties on the production cooking/batching area. Strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. KFI Sauces is a Friendly family-oriented environment. Previous food handling experience is an asset.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a cook/batcher
- Understanding of different spices.
- Able to follow the cooking process, considering FIFO.
- Follow workplace safety and Food safety requirements
- Prepare product on time and communicate with the packaging team
- Involved in troubleshooting of different machinery in the batching room, e.g., mixer, pump
- Lifting is required.
- Able to work on any shift and on weekends when required.
- Able to coach new team members.
- Must have work permit to be engaged
Salary Range $23-26 per hour.
