MEDICAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
We are given the opportunity to change peoples lives. Our unique prosthetic and orthotic clinic is seeking an experienced and professional office assistant/administrator. Our administrative position is a fast-paced encompassing role, including: front reception, clerical duties, and administrative billing. Be a part of assisting our patient’s treatment pathway.

- Computer software knowledge including windows, quickbooks, and web based portals.
In this role, your primary functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Representing our brand of friendly professionalism by providing the best possible first impression, offering clear and thorough communication, and extending a positive lasting impression to our patients
- Clinic administrator management overseeing and assisting front staff and specific patient inquiries.
- Billing: use of web based portals to look at authorizing and billing treatment devices including Alberta Blue Cross, Workers Compensation Board, War Amps and NIHB.
- Correspondence: draft and compose letters, memos, fax, photocopy
- Scanning documents
- Filing pertinent documentation on behalf of the clinic
- Ensuring and managing a smooth flow of patients through the office
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records EMR system is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a full-time position (approx. 40 hours).
