Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in. In this role, you will contribute to the manufacturing and assembly of wellhead and frac products, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier solutions to the oil and gas industry. This position is based in Edmonton.
Responsibilities
· Use mechanical and power vehicles (forklifts/pallet jacks) to load and unload goods from storage racks and points within our facility to compliment your duties. You will be trained specifically for our company prior to any use of this equipment.
· Safely use hand-tools and various manual methods of material handling required in your daily tasks as required, requiring you to safely lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
· Ensure lifting devices, cranes, and forklifts are inspected and documented daily as per company requirements.
· Follows inspections to documented procedures and best practice to ensure the condition, quantity, and specifications, and configurations of the goods are as ordered.
· Advise and work with the applicable team member to advise/document proof of completed assembly and accessories as per documented procedures.
· Prepare orders and equipment in a sound, secure manner ensuring each order is safe to transport to ultimate destination.
· Complete all applicable documents specific to your task and record all serial numbers and manufacturers’ equipment type to identify outgoing orders consistently and optimally.
· Ensure all stock not used is put away in a timely, neat, and tidy manner which allows for ease of identification and access and minimizing damage/degradation.
· Provides warehouse support services for maintenance and operations as/when required.
· Maintain a clean, orderly assembly area by keeping surfaces regularly swept, garbage’s emptied, tools put away and recycled materials dealt with accordingly.
· Proactively problem-solve and maintain a cooperative “team-based” environment.
· Assist in other departments with other tasks, as required.
· Ensure that incoming remanufactured/repaired stock is put away in proper place daily.
· Ensure that incoming goods are received and verified against the applicable purchase order or sales order. This task will be shared between yourself and shipper.
-Fluent in English, communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
· Minimum 2 years oilfield experience is desirable.
· Assembly Knowledge of both Conventional and Thermal Wellheads
· Ability to identify basic wellhead and frac equipment.
· Must be willing to work independently (post training) and be a self-starter.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
