Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cashiering responsibilities with precision.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Manage cash handling duties, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in setting up for events or special occasions.
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction in a hospitality-focused environment.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the food industry, including basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding food safety regulations is a plus. Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
