Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic / Lube Technician to join our service team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other preventive maintenance services
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Support the sales team by recommending additional services or products when appropriate
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and parts handling
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation preferred
