Haggerty Creek Ltd. is seeking a motivated Branch Administrator / Customer Service Manager to join our team at our full-service farm supply and grain elevator location. In this role, you will use your strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills to support daily branch operations, logistics, grain activity, inventory processes, and the needs of our farm customers. You will play an important role in helping deliver practical agriculture solutions that support customer success and strengthen the communities we serve.
What you will be responsible for:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction and maintain a professional, welcoming retail environment.
- Perform a variety of administrative functions related to daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end branch activities.
- Support customer recommendations and solutions connected to the Whole Farm Plan, including precision planning and application, crop inputs, grain handling, and grain marketing.
- Support the purchasing of grain for delivery into company facilities and direct delivery markets.
- Coordinate the movement of grain, fertilizer, and other shipments with growers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Support the sales team by using available planning tools to ensure timely execution of customer requests, including inventory availability, delivery scheduling, and product procurement.
- Manage inventory transactions, including receiving, shipping, and invoicing, and ensure products are accurately invoiced before leaving the site.
- Provide administrative support for overall branch operations, including documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication with customers and team members.
- Maintain awareness of sustainability practices and issues relevant to agriculture and customer needs.
- Work extended hours as required during busy agricultural seasons.
Requirements for this role:
- Post-secondary education in agriculture, agri-business, business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Administrative, customer service, accounting, or branch office experience is considered an asset.
- Experience or certification in GIS is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of farming practices is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of agronomy, fertilizer, crop protection products, seed, and grain marketing is considered an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment.

Haggerty Creek Ltd. was founded in April 2001 as a joint venture between Chuck and Justin Baresich and AGRIS Co-operative to better serve the four-county area. Our farming background is strong and deeply rooted in the community, and we sell and recommend the same products we use on our own farms.
Our primary customer base is located between Alvinston, Rodney, Newbury, and Rutherford. The four-county area includes Dawn-Euphemia Township in Lambton County, Zone Township in Kent County, Mosa Township in Middlesex County, and Aldborough Township in Elgin County, extending into parts of Brooke, Enniskillen, and Orford Townships.
The market area primarily consists of cash crop farms ranging from very small to very large operations. We also serve specialty crop customers, including vegetable, tobacco, nursery, and other producers.
